MNAPT's Board functions as it's governing body. It currently is made up of a President, Vice President,
Treasurer and Secretary. The Board meets the second Saturday of each month and can be reached via email at mnaptorg@yahoo.com or using MNAPT's PO box or phone number.

MNAPT
Seeks Board Members MNAPT is looking for some fresh, motivated members to become involved as members of the Board.
The Positions available include Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President
and President -- only people who have been on the board and have an RPT-S can run for president.
Please complete a Letter of Interest to be considered for the Board, download the form below.
Elections will take place December 2008 and new officers will assume their duties at
the next MNAPT Annual Conference, Spring 2009.
The deadline for submission of a Letter of Interest is October
1, 2008.

MNAPT BOARD MEMBERS JOB DESCRIPTIONS President - Attends monthly
board meetings
- Prepares monthly board meeting agenda
- Leads monthly board meetings
- Manages overall
functioning of MNAPT
- Manages Disaster Relief Committee via on-going discussions with committee chair
- Prepares
"President's Corner" for MNAPT quarterly newsletter
- Manages e-mail account weekly and responds accordingly
- Prepares
"President's Welcome" for annual conference packet
- Delivers "President's Welcome" at the
annual conference
- Responsible for monitoring all financial transactions of the treasurer
- Co-signs with the
treasurer on all financial transactions over $500.00
- Ensures continual progress on strategic plan goals
- Ensures
member enrollment and retainment
- Other duties as they arise
Vice-President - Attends
monthly board meetings
- Leads monthly board meetings if President is unable
- Manages Public Relations Committee
via on-going discussions with committee chair
- Ensures member enrollment and retainment
- Takes over all responsibilities
of President if President is unable
- Ensures continued progress on strategic plan goals
- Keeps records of continuing
education presentations and keeps all records of CE's
- Other duties as they arise
Treasurer - Attends
monthly board meetings
- Maintains all banking records and keep in order
- Maintains checkbook, cash and credit
card
- Records all incoming revenue and outgoing bills
- Makes all payments and maintain records of receipts of
outgoing money
- Provides financial statements monthly to Board of Directors
- Provides financial records and
projected financials for the upcoming year to MNAPT members at annual conference
- Completes yearly tax forms and submit
- Manages
Newsletter Committee via on-going discussions with committee chair
- Ensures continued progress of strategic plan goals
- Other
duties as they arise
Secretary - Attends monthly board meetings
- Records minutes
at all monthly board meetings
- E-mails minutes as the termination of each monthly meeting to all board members
- E-mails
all committee chairs for their monthly meeting minutes and report minutes at the monthly board meetings
- Keeps records
of all paperwork utilized and needed by MNAPT board (presenter forms, contracts, etc.)
- Manages Grant Writing/Fundraising
Committee via on-going discussions with committee chair
- Writes "From the Board Room" article for quarterly
MNAPT newsletter
- Ensures member enrollment and retainment
- Ensures continued progress on strategic plan goals
- Other
duties as they arise
